I am a painter. I am delighted to be a painter.

I am fascinated by the promise of expression through light and color and the power to evoke.

I paint landscapes and people I have seen and been touched by.
I paint to convey the wonder that is in ordinary things.

My paintings are realist impressionism or sometimes expressionist. I am particularly fascinated by the rendering of light and shadow.

Although I discovered my vocation as an artist and painter only later in life, creativity has always been an integral part of my life.
